Independent farmer or a large scale contractor, SlurryKat has a slurry tanker to meet your needs.

SlurryKat have become the world leaders in manufacturing slurry tankers and this has evolved from their own agricultural contracting business which gives them a continual insight into the needs of farmers and contractors when it comes to spreading slurry. Each SlurryKat tanker is designed to ensure profitability and productivity on farms of all sizes.
The super tanker range consists of tankers with spreading technology mounted on the rear of the tanker using a clever design that merges the chassis and spreading technology in a unique way to compliment the overall slurry system. Each slurry tanker boast SlurryKat’s unique laser cut, press formed taper chassis system. As the leaders in slurry tankers they are designed to allow a smooth on road journey and leading field performance.
Drumlish Farm Machinery stock the full range of SlurryKat tankers from 1,600 to 5,500 gallon. The most popular tankers in the range is the 1,600 gallon tanker due to their suitable for smaller farms and independent farmers while the 3,000 gallon ferry tanker is highly popular with contractors in particular.
With awards for innovation, reliability and excellence it is no wonder SlurryKat export slurry tankers around the world to Europe, Russia, USA, Canada and Australia to name but a few.
Standard features on all SlurryKat models (1,600 -5,500) gallon include:
- Commercial axels 10 stud 420×180 brakes
- Hydraulic brakes
- Laser cut, press formed tapered equilibrium chassis system

Tankers with Dribble Bars
Traditionally slurry tankers are manufactured first and foremost with a spreading system being a secondary after thought to the tanker. This is certainly not the case with Slurrykat as this approach destabilises the operation of the slurry tanker. As you will know slurry tankers on their own are an invaluable piece of slurry equipment but when combined with a SlurryKat spreading system they become even more valuable to a farmer. SlurryKat’s unique dribble bars increase efficiency and allow you to deliver slurry to a precise point on the ground in order to achieve higher productivity and reduced costs. Each super tanker within the SlurryKat range is designed to fully integrate together with the chassis, tank and dribble bar combined into one unit. These full length laser cut and press formed tapered chassis systems combined with rear mounted spreading technology are truly unique and will deliver a smooth and balanced onward journey with optimum field performance.
Farmline Dribble Bars
An alternative option to a complete tanker with dribble bar is the new SlurryKat Farmland Dribble Bars which come separate to a slurry tanker, yet continue to add efficiency to your slurry spreading.
Tankers with Spreading Equipment
All SlurryKat tankers are designed with the option for spreading technology to be mounted to the rear of the tanker as noted. Slurrykat’s award winning and unique trailing shoe was designed based on extensive knowledge of slurry spreading and is mainly for use on grassland to apply manure with minimal contamination to leaves.
Each slurry tanker with trailing shoe is manufactured with a umbilical drag hose kit for dual purpose and can be converted from tanker operation to umbilical operation mode in less than 10 minutes. The trailing shoe is also designed to reduce nitrogen losses by up to 80% in comparison with the original splash plate method.
This in turn also reduces the level of odours. The Slurrykat shoe can however be fitted with a splash plate for flexibility of use if you wish.
Ferry Tankers
It can be highly inefficient for a contractor to draw slurry from the farm to the field using a single tanker, especially during intense and harsh wet weather.
SlurryKat ferry tankers are designed to allow the contractor or farmer to remain in the field at all times during the spreading of the slurry with a dribble bar or trailing shoe. The ferry tanker itself is designed to stay on the road side, never entering the field at any time. Refills from the ferry tanker are made via a transfer boom which can be up to 9 meters in length and hydraulically operated.
The entry level ferry transfer tanker is equipped with a 7.5 metre transfer boom, which hydraulically delivers the slurry into the field tanker via a top fill hatch. Another key benefit to the ferry tanker is that the long boom can transfer can take place anywhere at the boundary of the field, even across the widest drains and hedgerows transfer is possible with the super reach boom.
Traditionally problems occurred for farmers not using a ferry tanker with soil compaction occurring at the entrance and exits of fields due to repeat journeys from farm to field. Tractor and tanker tyres during wet periods therefore caused heavy muck to be left on lanes and roadways.
